- Provides out of hospital care to the people of Lancaster County 24 hours a day,
seven days a week from 6 stations.
- Responds to 10,000 calls per year.
- Paramedic on each ambulance.
- Non-emergency transport unit available Monday through Friday from
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Trains and oversees 300 Medical First Responders who arrive quickly and begin treatment before
the arrival of EMS.
- Covers the "Panhandle" area of the county along with volunteers from Indian Land Rescue/EMS.
- Provides state of the art treatment with 12 Lead EKG'S, Rapid Sequence Intubation, and Quick Response Vehicles
- STAR Team provides specialty rescue services such as extrication, water rescue, high-level rescue, etc.
- Bike Team provides coverage at festivals and other events.
