	Lancaster County EMS Click here to visit the Lancaster County EMS Website MISSION: Lancaster County E M S responds safely to the community with compassion to preserve life, improve health, and promote well-being. Provides out of hospital care to the people of Lancaster County 24 hours a day, seven days a week from 7 stations. Responds to 12,000 calls per year. Paramedic on each ambulance. Trains and oversees 300 Medical First Responders who arrive quickly and begin treatment before the arrival of EMS. Covers the "Panhandle" area of the county along with volunteers from Indian Land Rescue/EMS. Provides state-of-the-art treatment with 12/15 Lead EKG'S, Rapid Sequence Intubation, Autopulse, ResQPod, induced hypothermia, and Quick Response Vehicles STAR Team provides specialty rescue services such as extrication, water rescue, high-level rescue, etc. Bike Team provides coverage at festivals and other events.
